Medieval Times transports you to a more simpler time. Trust me that is not what the public and little girls want to see. But the experience should be displayed as respectful and gentle rapport and we should not see such aggression and forceful riding. I've heard the drill "our horses are treated better than staff.PETA visits, they're fed, bathed daily.blah, blah, blah". The knights always seem to be more gentle and respectful. ![]() I don't recall this type of aggressive riding before. He appeared burnt out, aggravated and he jerked on the reins multiple times, gutted his horse with his spurs countless times and yanked him to walk back so hard the poor horse almost sat down-fear filled his eyes as he clenched down and chewed anxiously on his bit (see pic). The only thing I noticed this visit was the main "horseman" who did the solo show with an Andalusian. We've visited this location many times over the years. Overall, we had a terrific time and my kids all expressed an interest in going back. Finally, after the show, it would have been great to meet and get the autograph of the knight you championed. Only 4 primary people have speaking parts. The second is during the show, it would have been nice if all the knights were part of the story line. The first is pre-show, it would have been nice to get to see the horses or something like that while you wait to be seated. ![]() I have three things that I wished had happened that didn't. My children are teens and got very involved in the outcome and didn't look at their phones at all. The show was phenomenal! Very action packed and with a story line. I was a little apprehensive but it was really flavorful and well prepared. That cost much less than I expected for a "touristy" place. You can also upgrade to an alcoholic beverage for a small upcharge when you get your drinks. The glasses are glass and the quality is really good. I highly recommend the upgrade for a quality keepsake. We did add the keepsake drinks package and that was totally worth it. We did not get priority seating or anything like that so I wouldn't recommend it. It was our first time and the experience was AWESOME! We upgraded to the Royalty package but I don't believe there was really anything special with it.
